As I'm a Liverpool fanatic it was Great to see them knocked out of the competition and for a fellow countryman (Michael Mifsud - Maltese) scoring a brace was Pure Class. Absoltely Brilliant. Well Done Michael.

I'm Maltese and an LFC fan. You cannot possibly imagine the pride I'm feeling. I just wish that that back heel attempt did go in. As Maltese we possibbly will never be able to claim/acheive any big glory. But having one of our own stuffing two past manure in there own trashcan is sublime. As a Maltese I wish that someday I'll be able to watch a Maltese wearing the LFC shirt and playing for use. I know, it's daydreaming but nothing is impossible.

I think this would be more appropriate on a Coventry site. It has absolutely no relevance to LFC whatsoever.

To whoever left that last comment: you are probably right but, being Maltese myself, it is incredible to see a fellow countryman score twice against United.

Well if it has no relevance to you it does for me. Maltese crashing manure out of a cup.... Fanbloodytastic

I'm a United fan and very happy for Michael Mifsud. But it seems I'm going to have a happy year. United beat Chelsea, Sliema should win the league this year. Liverpool will flop again. Not able to beat Birmingham at home is no championship material.

So all u Liverpool fans, rejoice now thanks to Michael and try to win the Carling Cup - one of your treble cups under Houllier (not the real treble. And see us lift another one or two decent trophies.
