The Right Choice

A lot of things have been written about Tom Hicks in
recent weeks, most of them critical and most of them accurate. But it is only fair to give him some credit when he deserves it.
AFL have just released their revised design for Anfield which, for the second time got knoced back in favour of HKS’ revised design. Rumour has it that Hicks was the only one to want to go with HKS and, looking at the two designs, I have to back him on this one.
If he can find the funding, then Liverpool will truly have the iconic stadium that he has promised and earn the right to tell us that we were wrong to doubt him. For Liverpool’s sake, I hope that’s how it turns out to be.

if people want to be fooled by a pretty picture.
We have £60m to get this started and have to pay £30m interest a year. To get the stadium built we to borrow another £300m.........were will that come from!!!! cos obviously we wont have the revenues as it won't be built. It doesn't stack up as I said belive in pretty pics and empty promises if you want. ME and many others will not ever trust these two again
peterb: that is exactly why I said "if he can find funding".
